Therapy dog training can be incredibly rewarding. When you teach your dog how to react to the situations with which he /she will be presented, you are putting him/her in a situation to be more than just a pet. You and your dog together can be real additions to the community and help those that need you & your dog.
My therapy dog training course is for people who are interested in becoming a working team in the area of visitation and/or assisted activities training their own dog & themselves to become a Therapy Dog Team.
The visitation/activities include, but are not limited to, visits to hospitals, special needs centers, schools, children's homes, rehab centers, working along with licensed professionals, hospice, reading to dog programs and retirement/nursing homes.
Our objective is to provide you with the skills necessary to safely share your Therapy Dog with others bringing happiness and cheer into their lives, young and old alike. Mixed or purebreds are welcome in this therapy dog training class! All dogs must be calm & stable of nature and get along with all dogs, humans & children- no aggressive dogs are allowed.

Toledo Dog Training uses gentle and fun training methods that improve the communication between owner and dog. Toledo Dog Training‚s courses are fun & educational for both dogs & their owners. Our dog training classes are designed to teach you how to train your dog. Enrolling in group dog training classes provides you with the opportunity to practice your commands while being coached by a professional dog trainer. Working with your dog on a regular basis allows you to interact and bond with your dog, improving your relationship.
Semi-private class sizes allow more one on one time with each student and flexibility in lessons. Maximum 4-6 Students!
