Knoxville, TN Dog Parks
Sequoyah Hills Park
Popular park in Knoxville where people and dogs
generally tend to coexsist without much incident. Right on the
Tennessee River, there's lots of swimming area for the animals. Dogs
are allowed
off lead, but they must be under control. We've had a few problems
as of late with some agressive dogs, but overall, the owners leave
those at home, and there are usually no major problems.

Located on on Shelby Farms Gate 12.
Fenced, parking, water; the dogpark area has several small lakes where
dogs swim and play retrieving games; until noon, dogs may be off leash
at Patriot Lake. There are extensive (on-leash) hiking paths through
this 4500 acre park - the leash-free area is approximately 3 -5 acres.
There are also 'dog-working' areas at Gates 5 and 11.
