Doggie Doodle cake
Recipe: 1 cup flour
1/4 cup chopped dog treats
a pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tbs water
Preheat oven to 300 degrees f
Mix flour, salt, baking soda, half of your chopped dog treats in a bowl. Add water to your mixture and mix until pourable. Spray a minnatere chicken pot pie pan with non stick spray and pour your mixture into it.Top your mixture with chopped dog treats and put it in your oven for 30-35 minutes checking on it every 5 minutes. It should be baked all the way through when you cut it open if not put it back in you oven for 5-10 minutes or however long it takes it to cook all the way through.
Serve it to your dog in small slices on a plate.
Yummy Dog Bones
3/4 cup hot water
2 beef or chicken boullion cubes
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/3 cup margarine
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 egg, beaten
Combine butter, bouillion, and water in sauce pan over medium heat
until butter is melted and boullion dissolves. Add this to powdered
milk and egg in a large bowl. Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing
well after each. Knead 3-4 minutes. Pat or roll to 1/2" thickness
and cut out with dog bone shaped cookie cutter. Place on greased
cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until hard
and light brown. Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
Laird's Offal Liver Cookies
Laird's Liver Cookies (approximate measurements--I just use
what I have and thicken the mixture with ground oatmeal and add
enough to seem like a cake mix. Bake at 200 for an hour or less
in an oblong cake pan and slice up for freezing.)
2 pkgs. beef liver & 1 kidney
1 lb. chicken liver
Mozzarello cheese
wheat germ
oatmeal (ground)
cottage cheese
peppermint
oregano
oregano
borage
basil
lettuce
honey & molasses
Canola oil & olive oil
at least 4 eggs
(peanut butter icing)

Veggie Wedgies
Recipe: 1/2C.Dried Parsley Flakes
1 Raw Carrot-shredded
1/4C. Low fat Cheese-shredded
1/4C. Olive Oil
2 3/4C. Unbleached Flour
2t.Baking Powder
1/4C. Water (little more if needed)
Preheat oven to 350*
Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Stir together parsley, carrots, cheese and oil. Combine all the dry ingredients and add to the veggies. Add 1/4c. water, mix well. Make a moist, not wet dough. If needed add more water. Knead for 1 minute.
Roll out dough to 1/2" thick. With a pizza cutter cut into bite-size triangles (the bigger the dog the bigger the bite-size).
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until they have browned and hardened slightly. They will harden more as they cool.
Store in air tight container.
Will keep up to a week on the counter, a month in the refrigerator, a year in the freezer.
Doggie Pops
Recipe: In blender mix 2 cups plain yogurt, 1/2 c peanut butter and 1/4 c milk. Blend. Spray ice cube trays lightly with cooking oil. Pour into trays. When solid, remove cubes to trays and place in a sealed container. Keep in freezer.
